Blue Channel Strip
After years of development, Quagliardi proudly introduces the Blue Channel Strip, the ultimate expression of the company’s analog design philosophy.
Housed in our Powergrid Trio, a precision anodized-aluminum chassis and powered by an external ultra-low-noise power supply, the Blue Channel Strip delivers generous headroom while minimizing electromagnetic interference.
It combines the acclaimed 501+ Preamp, 576 FET Compressor, and 523 Parashelving eQ into a single, elegant recording channel strip.
The signal path begins with the 501+ Preamp, a pristine and detailed preamplifier capable of adding analog coloration by driving its discrete circuitry and transformers.
Next, the 576 FET Compressor brings a modern approach to FET compression, featuring detector filters, mix knob for parallel compression, and Boom mode for added weight and character.
The 523 ParaShelving eQ provides the final tone-shaping stage, while its Blue harmonic saturation circuit adds an extra touch of color when needed.
The rear panel provides XLR and TRS connectivity, and switchable daisy-chain capabilities with independent inputs and outputs for each processing stage.
This allows users to access the signal after the preamp, after compression, or at the end of the complete chain, while also making it possible to use each section independently.
Its modular 500 Series architecture allows each module to be easily swapped or removed, turning the Blue Channel Strip from a complete recording channel into three standalone processors whenever needed.
From pristine recording to creative analog coloration, the Blue Channel Strip is a premium, highly flexible front end designed to adapt to virtually any recording session.
